The recognition highlights McGuire’s commitment to building lasting client relationships and developing the next generation of financial professionals.
Michael McGuire, president and founder of Atlas Advisors, has been named a 2026 Lehigh Valley Business & Finance Leader by Lehigh Valley Business, recognizing his leadership in financial services and commitment to building a business rooted in understanding client needs and integrity.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be recognized by Lehigh Valley Business. This honor is really a reflection of the clients, colleagues and community members who have trusted me throughout my career,” said McGuire. “Every relationship has taught me something and shaped the way I approach this work. I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve the people who have put their trust in me and to continue building those relationships for years to come.”
Early in his career, McGuire learned through trial and error that the foundation of financial planning is not necessarily knowing what to say, but knowing when to listen. After spending his early career building relationships one conversation at a time, he came to understand that clients were not looking to be sold a product; they wanted someone who understood what they were trying to accomplish and could help them determine how their finances could support those goals. Now with more than 25 years of experience, McGuire has carried that philosophy into Atlas Advisors, where he works with individuals, families, business owners and executives to develop financial strategies tailored to their circumstances, priorities and vision for the future.
That same philosophy shapes how McGuire leads Atlas Advisors. Beyond his role as president, he mentors the next generation of financial professionals, including his daughter, Maggie, who joined the firm in 2024, and speaks with local university students interested in careers in financial services. Through his leadership, he is building a firm culture centered on integrity, relationships and taking the time to understand each client’s needs.
For McGuire, being named a Lehigh Valley Business & Finance Leader reflects not only business growth, but the trust he has built with clients and the responsibility he feels to continue serving them and developing the professionals who will serve future generations.
“At the end of the day, I don't measure success by how many accounts we manage,” McGuire said. “I measure it by whether our clients know we listened to them, understand what matters to them and will be there when they need us.”
